Penn State Cellular Services
for Students
AT&T offers discounted service to University students. Responsibility for personal services remains with the individual, not the University. University students who have existing cellular service with AT&T should contact their service provider to verify if they are eligible for discounts.

Benefits include:
10% discount on eligible rate plans
40% off the list price of all cellular handsets [does not apply to handsets or equipment if voice service is an option or not available(ie. PDAs, Blackberry)].
Other special seasonal discounts when available.
AT&T retail stores can provide rate plan discounts and the Sponsorship (IRU) Premier site can be accessed by students. Currently new IRU orders can be done through Premier. Migrations from blue service to orange can NOT be done by Premier but must be called to NBO (National Business Ordering), 1-888-444-4410.

Right corner, enter your Penn State E-mail Address (ie., abc1@psu.edu)
You will obtain access from AT&T through an e-mail to your psu.edu account.
Click on the "Shop AT&T Premier Today " link provided in your e-mail.
On the Employee Group page, select "Penn State University Faculty, Staff or Students".
If you are an existing AT&T user and would like to verify if you are eligible for discounts, please contact AT&T National Business Ordering at 1-888-444-4410, option #1, and then option #3 and provide the AT&T representative the following:
- Your name
- Cellular phone number
- Foundation Account Number (listed below)
- 30096 (TDMA-Employees)
- 42751 (GSM-Employees)
- 46288 (TDMA-Students)
- 46316 (GSM-Students)
Penn State students can call AT&T Customer Service , 1-800-331-0500, for changes to rate plans, features or address, etc. The account name, cellular phone number and Foundation Account Number will be required. |
