Applied Information Technologies (AIT)
(formerly Advanced Information Technologies)
Applied Information Technologies (AIT) of Consulting and Support Services, a unit of Information Technology Services (ITS), is charged with the research, development, deployment, and management of a wide range of centralized computing services for the University community. Services include ISP services, networking, specialized applications, systems management, consulting services, and vendor software distribution and support.
The Special Projects Group, the Networking and Advanced Systems Group, the Enabling Technologies Group (formerly the UNIX Systems and Technical Solutions Group), and the Software Solutions Group comprise Applied Information Technologies (AIT).
