How to Apply for an AskPSU Form

All Penn State colleges, departments, and organizations can request an AskPSU form. A Penn State Access Account is required to apply for this service.

To apply for an AskPSU form:

  1. Login to the AskPSU Administrator Login page at https://clc.its.psu.edu/askpsu/admin.pl.

  2. Enter your Penn State Access Account user ID and password.

  3. Press Enter or click on OK .

  4. The AskPSU Administrator menu is displayed.

  5. On the AskPSU Administrator Menu, select New Form. The following screen will be displayed:

  6. You will now need to have the following information ready:

    • Name of your organization as you would like it to appear on your virtual postcard.

    • Your organization's abbreviation. This will be used to provide a unique URL (Web address) for your form.

  7. Enter the name of your organization and the organization's abbreviation in the spaces provided. For example, to apply for an AskPSU form for the Consulting and Support Services, the abbreviation might be css. The web form created in this case can be accessed at http://ask.psu.edu/css.html. Since, the server is case-sensitive it is best to enter the abbreviation all in lowercase.

  8. Press Submit to submit your request.

    Note:

    • You can exit the form without submitting and/or changing your information at any time by selecting the Main Menu button.

Your new form which will be in the style of an electronic postcard and, in most cases, will be created within three (3) business days. You will be notified by e-mail when your form is ready.
