LDAP Server Outage Notice

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) service, which provides directory services to the University community, has experienced intermittent outages after its scheduled upgrade on Tuesday, February 26, 2002. This service has continued to experience periodic outages throughout this week but it is hoped that it will be fully restored by this evening. The CAC is working with the vendor to correct the problem and to prevent this kind of outage from happening again. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your patience during this time. Please note that all systems are scheduled for daily maintenance between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. During this time, one or more Internet services may not be available. The CAC systems status page shows the current status of servers.
