File Backup Server Outage Notice

The Center for Academic Computing (CAC) will upgrade its file backup server, known as the Tivoli Storage Management (TSM) server, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2002. During this time, you will not be able to communicate with the TSM server.

Please note that you may not be able to connect to the TSM server after the upgrade is completed. If this happens, check your TSM options file to make sure the variable TCPSERVERADDRESS is configured for backup.cac.psu.edu. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact backup@psu.edu. Additional information about TSM is found at http://cac.psu.edu/ait/tsm.html.
