Penn State WebMail Upgrade
Effective February 10, 2003

In an effort to improve the performance of Penn State WebMail, Information Technology Services (ITS) has made a change to the default option "leave e-mail on server." This option will no longer be the default setting. WebMail users may choose to select this option via WebMail's Options screen. This change applies to both current and new users.

Who is Affected?

This change affects those who use WebMail exclusively to check their respective Penn State e-mail. Those who use other e-mail clients such as Eudora or Outlook, exclusive to or in conjunction with WebMail, are not affected by this upgrade.

Please note that all systems are scheduled for daily maintenance between 5:30 and 7:30 a.m. During this time, one or more Internet services may not be available. The ITS systems status page shows the current status of servers.
