Librarians are offering reference services in the HUB-Robeson Center this semester as a way to help more students locate books, articles and other resources they need. The librarians, who are from several subject libraries at University Park, have set up a desk outside the Higher Grounds Coffee Shop in the HUB, complete with a laptop and printer.
Students can learn how to search The CAT effectively, navigate the Libraries' webpages and use databases such as ProQuest. Students may also be referred to subject specialists for more in-depth questions.
This semester, reference services will be offered from Monday to Wednesday, and on some Sundays, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reference services will not be available on Tuesday or Wednesday of the week of Thanksgiving.
