More Web-based Tutorials Available

On March 19, Penn State's faculty, staff and students have access to 127 more Web-based tutorials, bringing the total number of courses to 727. The new courses cover such topics as Java 2 programming, Linux and Linux Red Hat Administration, Microsoft Windows 2000 Network, Oracle, Web Site Security, and XML programming. All of the courses are designed to make it possible for users to learn computer skills at their own convenience from any location, including office workstations, home computers, or University computer labs. All of the Web-based courses are self-paced and utilize hands-on exercises and software simulations to create an effective learning experience. To view or print a complete list of courses, go to http://wbt.cac.psu.edu and click on the "Course Listing" link.
