Web 2005 to be held on June 14 with Pre-conference Activities on June 13

Web 2005 will take place on June 14 at the Penn Stater Conference Center. Four-hour pre-conference tutorials will be offered on June 13 in the IST Building, followed by a reception for all conference attendees.

The opening keynote speaker will be Jared Spool, a well-known usability expert and founder of User Interface Engineering (http://uie.com/). The closing keynote speaker will be Daniel Frommelt, the University World Wide Web Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, an advocate of Web standards.

Do you run a Web server, publish information, write programs, create graphics, design pages-or perhaps do it all-for an official Penn State Web site? If so, Web 2005 is for you.

This annual conference brings Penn State Web professionals together to share information and learn about innovative uses of the Web, applications for Web development, works in progress, security issues, and more.

Further details will be available at http://www.psu.edu/webconference/.
