Due to an increasing number of accounts, Penn State has reached the next qualifying tier for greater discounts. Verizon Wireless has increased Penn State discounts to 19% for University corporate accounts and 17% for employee personal accounts. Equipment also has a greater discount. In addition to consistently increasing national coverage, Verizon Wireless has also added a tower to the University Park campus.
The new discounts apply to monthly plans of $34.99 and higher. All new accounts should automatically receive these increased discounts, and all current corporate accounts will automatically be upgraded to a 19% discount and all current employee accounts will automatically be upgraded to a 17% discount. The new discounts should be applied within two billing cycles to existing accounts.
