With springtime here ITS reminds students, faculty and staff that wireless access to the Penn State network and Internet resources is available in several outdoor areas on the University Park campus. Those areas include the HUB Plaza, Willard Plaza, Thomas Plaza and the outdoor area surrounding the new Business Building. Wireless computing provides a new level of mobility and convenience to Penn State computer users, allowing access to valuable network and Internet resources anywhere that wireless coverage exists on campus.
Wireless Signal signs will soon be posted in buildings at Penn State. The wireless signal indicates that there is Penn State Wireless coverage in that general area. Posting of this sign is optional and not all locations with Penn State Wireless will have this sign. You should check online at http://wireless.psu.edu/ to find a convenient wireless location.
