The Information Technology Services (ITS) offers computing assistance to students, faculty, and staff at Penn State through its User Services division in Consulting & Support Services (CSS). Services are offered at IT Service Desks, student computing labs, and residence halls. The hours listed below correspond to the fall and spring semesters while classes are in session. The IT Service Desks offer walk-in, phone, and electronic consulting at two locations at University Park. Be sure to check out our IT Service Desk web site at http://itservice.psu.edu for important information and answers to many of our most frequently asked questions. Questions not found in the IT Service Desk pages can be sent by electronic mail to itservicedesk@psu.edu.
The Administrative Information Systems (AIS) Support Center provides the support necessary for faculty and staff to help you accomplish your daily work objectives while using administrative computing systems and services. In most of the student computing labs, student consultants can help with general questions about Penn State Access Accounts, lab equipment, software, and printing. However, they are not permitted to help students with course assignments. Lab consulting schedules can be found on the ITS Lab Consulting Web site at http://labconsulting.css.psu.edu/.
Consultants at the IT Service Desk and lab locations (see above) can help with general computing questions and problems. However, for problems related to Internet connections in residence halls, please contact the following:
