Verizon Telephone Directory Orders
ITS is promoting an environmental and economic initiative. Printed copies of the local Verizon Bellefonte/State College phone directory will no longer be mass distributed at University Park. This procedure will conserve valuable resources needed to produce, deliver, and recycle over 12,000 phone books distributed across University Park campus each year.
Departments wishing to have a printed directory should contact Idearc Media (the Verizon distribution contractor) at 1-800-888-8448. Departments can request up to five printed phonebooks, at no cost. Additional phonebooks will cost $41.40 per directory.

Verizon Departmental Listings
ITS processes all white page departmental listing changes for the Bellefont/State College Verizon Directory. All changes should be made using the directory change/add/delete form by November 1st of the preceding year.
A monthly charge of $4.60 per listing applies.
Note: Listings found in the Verizon directory are accessible to independent directory assistance providers (including internet companies). Due to the complexity of the searching capabilities University listings in the Verizon directory are more prone to receive misdirected calls. Carefully consider what phone listings are pertinent to provide to these companies.
The Penn State General Information Number is provided to these companies. The Call Center staff is experienced and can provide callers with appropriate departmental referrals.
