Why are my caption numbers for figures, tables and/or equations not correct?
When you use the PsuThesi automated numbering features,
for example,
[Chapter]>(New Figure)
,
there are times when the numbers will appear as though they are
incorrect or duplicated.

Figure 3-2
Figure 3-2
Figure 3-3
This happens because the numbers are actually Word "fields" which are not
always updated immediately. At any time, you can update all the fields
in the active document using:
[Toolbox]>(Update All Fields)
or its shortcut
Atl+U
or
[Edit]>(Select All)
or its shortcut
Ctrl+A;
then function key
F9

Figure 3-3
